Okay, i am slow and just realized, there is no friggen 2008 Focus Hatchback. They replaced it with the Escort Coupe!!!! WTF are they thinking, if everyone saw this excuse me, i just saw this and i am beside myself. i guess i won't be buying another Focus in the future!

yea, U.S. ford is only making the sedan/coupe models.....

They are making the sedan/coupe styles interim until they start building the new focus's on the C1 platform.

The wifey likes it, so we'll take a look at them. We have the 01 hatch and the 05 sedan. May as well collect the 08 coupe.

And my wife said, oh, so it looks like the last gen Civics, cool. ARRGGGGGGGG!!! It'll be nice to see the Saleen Coupe Focus, oh wait that won't happen. And will we get the new platform here in the US, nah Mazda will though. No wonder Ford is losing to the ugly Chevrolets. I am one car away from being all GM in my stable (we have a '90 Firebird and a '06 Envoy Denali) and i was looking towards getting a new Focus as a DD next year. Not if there are no hatches though. I am still pissed right now. I need a drink, this angered up my blood.

I think it has potential, I still want a hatch but I'll reserve judgment on this one until I can check it out in person.

I already passed judgement, i could care less how it drives, i like the hatches and they screwed with that. Why go through the design pains and building new forms to just ruin a line of cars? I can fit a hell of a lot more in my hatch than a coupe and i hate 4 door cars (the envoy i like, it is comfy). I may have to think about that Pontiac G5 harder.

Have you checked out the Imprezza WRX? Those are now a hatchback...if you picked up one of those, I would'nt think any less of ya...hehe.

What are the rally teams gonna drive now? Does ford not pay attention to the modders of the world? Most of the modded Foci out there are hatches, not sedans. Way to ignore some of the most loyal Ford owners! Might as well be driving a Cobalt. The Aveo line has a hatch right?

The new wrx is a hatch. You should buy one.

I already have a $30K+ vehicle I am not allowed to have 2, so no WRX.

i think the wrc has the euro's focus ST for a rally car...

oh and the WRX hatch, OOHHHH man that's a hot car to play around wit....

The same thing they've been winning the WRC championship with, The European Gen2 Focus that we don't get.

I'm sticking with my SVT, It's cheaper to buy a blower than it is to buy a new car.
