by increasing the Minnnesota Focus membership by one!
I heard about MN. Focus from ?STEVESVTPARTS? a while ago on FJ, when I was looking for a sub and enclosure for a Mach 1. Think I am registered on FJ and FF as Focusun.
The ST is my 2nd Focus. Bought it Dec.06 and love the car! It has 22K on it. The only mod is a Steeda SRI. The first Focus was the ZX3 automatic bought in 2003 with 55K on it. It now has 122K and has been rock solid.
Looked at the photos at Tousley. COOL! Will have to do that sometime.
Thought I'd introduce myself! Hope to be somewhat active on the board.

Thanks guys!
When I bought the ZX3, I didn't know about any Focus boards. I'm into the offshore boating websites, and have a 28 Pantera with twin 502's. 415HP ea. She's a little hotrod on the water!
When I got the ST, the modding bug hit pretty hard. Found some Focus boards, and seeing what you guys do to these things is pretty cool. Man, I would love a turbo! I do my own wrenching on the cars and enjoy it. These things are pretty easy to work on. My local dealer is Milo Peterson Ford in Kenyon. Good people there, but thinking of using our resource Steve, for the major part purchases. The modding urge is still there, but it must be tempered because of the boat. Someday though. LOL

Steve is not only a good discount on parts he is a wealth of knowledge on the focus platform. That is why i abuse him, he knows what he is talking about (at least he acts like he knows). Not many ford parts guys you can say, "I need 1 step colder plugs for the zetec." And they know what you are talking about and be able to find the part number (he knows it off the top of his head).
Welcome!!!!

Plenty of room to run on the Mississippi. We keep it just south of Lock & Dam 4 in Alma, WI. With a stiff NW or SE wind, Lake Pepin can blow up some nice 3 footers with an occasional 4. The Pantera was born to slaughter these things at speed. Get goosebumps just thinking about 'em!
EDIT: Added the Lock and Dam number

We're trying to make it a family thing. Daughter wants out of the 04 Cavalier and we've been dealing on the wifes 04 Escape. The dealers don't believe the Escape is worth anything, so that's why we've still got it.
If it all comes together, the family will be totally focused. LOL

I like the ZX3 style, but wanted the 2.3. Looked long for a ZX3 with the 2.3/manual. Found a few, but...... The local dealer found this ST for me. Also thought about the SVT, but I'm kinda of a torque guy. Hell, don't be surprised if there isn't a hitch on the ST to launch the fishing boat.
