yay or nay???

So I've sorta been tooling around the idea of a new car, I don't want to give up on the focus, I'd love to keep it as a beater, toy, project car but funds don't allow for it.
I REALLY want to get a mazdaspeed3 but I'd need another $2500 for a down payment to keep my payments under $300/month.
So i've been toying around the idea of a ST sedan, W/ SAP2, Heater Leather seats, power moon roof, manual, basically a fully loaded ST.
The ones i've been seeing invoice for around $18,809.00 give or take a few hundred. and Right now I can get $2500 cash back from for, plus another $750 for repeat business, so that'd put me around $15,500 before taxes and license and crap.
So should I wait, get the extra $2500 (which would put me to next spring) or get the ST and put that $2500 towards a Focus Sport turbo kit for the ST?
your thoughts....

Just outright sell the S2 and pickup your MS3.

They have an ST in liquid gray, just like the one you want at Apple valley ford. But the mazdaspeed is almost worth waiting for.

Even if I outright sold my car and barring if I can get around $6k for it, that would only leave me with $2500 at most after paying of the remainder of the loan.
If I were to get the MS3 it would be the grand touring which is another $2k more expensive, the cheapest I can get it for is $22k inventory, there currently are no sales incentives for the MS3 like there are for the Focus.
So in order to keep my payments under $300/month I'd need at least $5k total for down payment.

Tough choice, Personally I can't get past the looks of the MS3. It's a bit busy for me. Besides it has too many doors.
Save a little more and get a Powerworks for the Alien.

Don't want to keep my car any more. Need a 4 door again. I don't know how you can do it with three kids one of them being as young as my daughter in a car seat.
The focus is a great car, and maybe I am getting old and shit but I want something with a little bit better interior than the current car, which is why I want heated leather seats, and power moon roof and all that. I want something nicer inside since I spend so much time in my car anyways.
Like I said If i could I'd keep my car and find something for a daily driver but the wife won't have it that way.

the mazdaspeed 3 is an amazing car, i love them, but if you want something that is a little bit bigger, i was talking to a speed dealer and he was saying if you wait till the later part of the year (before the new models come out) look at the speed 6, you can get them for the same price as the 3's because they are hard to get rid of, not many people are looking for a family sedan turbo 4 AWD that only comes in manual, you know? i wish i could have done it before but there was a 2006 speed6 for sale for 25,000 that is brand new and it was fully loaded minus nav. but seeing im a poor college kid i couldnt buy it. but just an example of how great of a deal you can get on them

yea but $25k is still too damn much for a year round daily driver.
I'd love a speed6 but again I want to keep my payments under $300/month.

go with the st and turbo kit. aftermarket for msp3 is very small compared to what is gonna come round for the foci. just like the hondas, they had to get old for the yonger kids and budget guys to start playing with them. i would do the st.
