My friend Kris helped me make this camera mount and we tested it out.. (weeks ago) and I just got around to uploading the video. Yout gotta watch it sideways though..

Its a orange suction cup thinger ma bobber... I'm still scared as shit driving with it even tho I can lift tables with it.

maybe you can make your own safety belt and tie it to your camera, who knows the mount broke and fell off.

okay, so I skipped down to read all the replies cause I have 56k

and have to wait for the pics to load and figure that I am going to see pics of a "thru the glass" windshield cam but no....
That is an awesome setup and will be even better when you can get the camera oriented properly.

I can see what all the fuss was about with the safety of the camera. Even more dangerous than the chance of it falling off would be if auto-x'ing and kissing a traffic cone at speed. For you it would suck but I bet a vid of the camera exploding on impact with the cone would make for a good standing around drinking beer story.
I'll have to check it out on the T3 line at work tomorrow.

I gotta add another piece to be able to make it sit up right, and some safety straps too. I wish this little camera used a remote though..

awesome. need two things now.
-mount it upright
-add a wind deflector or external mic.
I love wheel cams. I just can't resist watching the suspension do it's thing! me so ho'nay!
