Ok guys im getting sick of my heat shield cat rattle and ive decided soon im going to get a orp or a hfc... not to mention the nice lil gains i will get from either........ but i was wondering how much louder its going to make the stock svt exhaust and how much should i worry if i get a orp ..... since its illegall.... any input is goooooood and stilz... i need to get a ride in your svt i know you have a orp :)

its all up to you, i would go ORP, but if you want to stay some what "green" you can go with the HFC. you might get a little more HP out of a ORP but it will be a little louder.

I'd agree, except the cats are way to fucking overpriced. 300$ for a car is retarded. I've been pricing them out for some weeks now. I did find a ORP from NewEdge for $150 tho.

An ORP with stock SVT exhaust is insanely loud.

A high flow cat is much more reasonable, Yes more expensive but way more liveable.

I have an ORP on my FOCUS, Its load if you want it to be.
I got a polished ORP with MIL for $180 from CFM It is way cheaper than a HFC.
Havent been pulled over or anything for load exaust.
ORP all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not insanely loud. thats all I have done to mine, though, its not quiet either. FocusJosh, you were hearing mine when we were up at pizza hut that one day. its gets loud on top end, otherwise its quieter than any honda with a bad muffler.
