so i had a talk the other day with one of my fellow mechanics( owner of a 10 second 76-78 monza). the question is what makes you a poser? the point he brought up is a good one ,at least in my mind.

1. if your car looks like a race car,but you have never in your life made a full run on a race track. you may be a poser.

2. if you have a roof scoop that mounted with 3m tape and serves no actual purpose. you may be a poser.

3. if you have a pro street car and it only gets idled around at fairs and car shows.You are a poser!!!

4. if you bought your car and then brag it up as if you were the one to have built it. you are a poser!!!!

5. check book cars. need i say more?

6. if you wount do a smokey burnout cuse it might chip your neons. you may be a poser.

7. if you have 1 3/4 inch exhaust and a 8 inch muffler /tip. you may be a poser.

8. if you are not aisian and you have a buttload of aisian writting that is not sponser names. you may be a poser.

9. if you think lambo doors are the shit and you dont have a lambo, yet your doors some what open as a lambo. you may be a poser.


i can do this all night, but feel free to add as needed.

i think lambo doors are awesome on some cars.

ya, nothing wrong with a non performance mod if its tastefully done and its what the person likes.

If you do a one-wheel burnout on Uni, you may be a poser...

Yeah, I guess I kinda fall under #6. I won't do a smokey burnout, but not because of my neonz. But my tires are expensive, and don't want to chip up my side skirts.

But do I really fall under it? Since I'll lite up in Rattles. Chromie can't spin them tho. Stock=No PoWWaA

I think it should be, If you're running lowered on black steelies and you don't have snows mounted then you may be a poser.

now remember kids, this is all in fun. if it gets carried away we will have to get it locked. but yes do have fun with it.



if you have bought at least 400 dollars worth of pepboys stick on crap in hopes of making ones car" BLINGY". you may be a poser.

if you do only one engine mod and that is putting chrome valve covers on a dirty rusty motor, " hay there good for at least 10 horse power!" . you may be a poser and/or heres yer sign.
