i've heard the myth and am willing to try it out, so its 15 minutes in the oven at 350 to loosen the silicoln right?? gimme some feedback if you have attempted this.

oh, and i am planning to totally black out my car, which means i would like to paint the entire headlight housing,(including the center piece) black, how would this affect headlight output? if it hinders headlight output, would a glosy paint help?
get them brains workin guys, i wanna do this pronto!!

P.S. anyone want a chrome hatchpiece? i'm willing to come to your place for the swap for a black one.(adam!!)

Well its 350 for 15mins or so. A friend did his wRX lights that way.

As for the center peice I wouldnt spray that at all because thats what the light reflects off

heat it up, and it should come apart fairly easy... but u shouldnt paint the reflector.. cuase it will seriously deteriorate the beam pattern
