WTB: 225/45-17 New/Used/Take-offs

Looking for a bargain set of 225/45-17 tires. Anyone have anything or know of anyone?

got some 215 50 17 Michelin Pilot MXMV H's....something like that. Lots of tread left...7-8 32nds. These aren't cheap tires, about $170 each new...no joke. I don't know what you mean by "cheap". These go on average for $300/set in this condtion on ebay. If interested, make me an offer.

Also, very possible I could meet you within a very reasonable distance in WI within the next few weeks.

hows the grip, cornering and noise level? i might be interested if i can afford it LOL. is it all season?

they are all season M+S....they are more a touring tire. No complaints with grip or cornering. Noise its hard to say, as the Optima is very quiet on the inside...lots od sealing, sound deadening. I notice the changeover from blacktop to cement.

I can also make it to Eau Claire for you if needed, still have stuff at my grandmas to pick up anyways

Am I wrong or arent the 215/50-17 over an inch larger in diameter than the stock 205/50-16?
