Heard from insurance today that they finally ruled my car totaled. I've been looking and contemplating what kind of focus I should get next, but after a lot of arguing, opinions, and weighing options and I'm starting fresh. I just wanna say a big thank you to everyone I've met in being with this focus family. Special thanks go to trahma, umdivx, eleanor focus, mars, focinite, fordfocuszts, o2designs, fordsvtparts, hotrodwagon, and co_macho for actually putting in their effort to help build my focus, whether it was installing or providing parts.

Had a long history with the car.. at first I hated how ugly it was and how boring it was to drive, and I started off by making it uglier too now that I think about it. I was voted Best Senior Car by my high school class and it really meant a lot to me. I spent hours learning about the car and working on it. I did what I could do, and tried to make it as tasteful as I could. I was finally getting it on my way to how I really wanted it to be, a badass looking sedan, even with the limiting auto tranny. I'm registered to show at the DUB auto show later this year which would have been big for me because the DUB industry is how I first got into modding cars. I also have a kit I never got to throw on and see with my own eyes besides a photoshop. Here's a progressive history sort of... from different meets

Now that i think about it, as a student who relies on the car to get to work and school everyday, and being that I'm still young, getting a real project car might not be the wisest thing. My thirst for boost or a blower is going to have to wait, and the money I had been saving is going to come in handy now. I'm not leaving this forum. I can't find a better group of guys, the only thing I'll be missing out on is getting help installing focus parts. Thanks guys

Some of my faves

Damn, another red sedan lost...

No matter what you get, I'm sure you'll still be welcome to any and all meets. And I'm sure if you need help with your next car, somebody on here will be able to help ya out.

I remember the first time I saw your car. Justin was putting gauges in it, at MOA parking lot...at night...LOL

---Side note, in those pictures, Nick's car was actually clean at one point, without rust...HAHA

Nice pun kyle ;)

Kevin, sorry to hear about how this turned out. I know you will definately be missed in our small focus community, but I do hope, no matter what you get, that you still continue to come to our meets and visit the forum. Hope you have fun with your next car whatever it may be. I know how the contemplation is being in school and wanting a true, built, project car, its a very hard realization that in a lot of cases it just isn't yet possible.

Let me know if you ever need help with your cars, no matter what it is. Good luck buddy!

Hell yeah, like I said I won't be leaving this forum and I'll be an active poster. Like I said, I don't think I can find a better group of guys. It'll feel like a still own a focus, haha. Until my car sticks out like a sore thumb at the meets.

Aren't you a little young to be gettin a minivan? I mean, no one needs a project car, you either have it in your blood or you become a soccer mom driving a minivan. Sorry for your loss.

Yeah sorry I couldn't save it. I do like the last rode picture I have up there, it's with the lip and the skirts I bought from you PS'ed on so that's how it woulda looked. The wings west back fit like a dream with my exhaust setup too, too bad I never got to see that fully done. But I did have a good outcome, love my new car despite the car payments. It's all worth it.
