Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Why not look for a car under 1k for a beater? I sure wish I had your money for a beater.

I'm confused, You get to buy a winter beater and you have $9000.00 to spend.

I just ran Kelly bluebook and there are local Foci starting under $3000.00.

You could get yourself a manual trans ZX3 and have room to play with it, If you look hard you could probably even find a 2.3 manual car. Possibly even an SVT depending on your time frame.

Why buy a used BMW or VW that'll put you in the poor house the first time it breaks? (and the VW will break)

Edit- I missed the whole "drive it for a month and get rid of it thing" . Still sounds odd though.

Brain storm, buy 02's zx3 which, is 2 door, and, a 5 speed, and use that for a project car since you need to have 4 doors in your daily driver.
