Just got back from test driving a Yeller EAP SVT.

Pos:
Recaros(I miss mine even more now)
As the dealer said "Yep, its a manual"LOL

Neg:
No power
Girly Color
Ugly Rims
Roasted Brakes

It handled nice, and had a nice mellow exhaust tone(similar to my Kona). But after we got on the road, the thing had no power. At 3grand, in second gear, I stepped on it, and it pulled a like an automatic Camry. Got on the highway, I had it floored, and it would not pull past 59mph in 5th or 6th. We got it back, and you could smell brakes. So the back brakes were locked up. The dealer just put new brakes in it after trade-in, and who ever did it, did a suck ass job of it.
So their gonna fix the brakes, and we're gonna go back and beat on the car some more. HAHA

First thing the dealer says to me when we start looking at it,"Its a manual".... whatta tool.

yea soo true, it's slow if ur in 5th or 6 below 50mph it gets up slow.... but other than that i think it's the locked up brakes that u cant get up to speed in 2nd..... oh and u wont feel as much power compared to ur S/C chromie!!

i think its some thing wiff da svt car. mine pulls like a sum bitch no matter what gear you are in above 3 grand. now that its broke in wiff a good intake system and a little tinkerin its grabin third gear scratch!!!  i think the traction controll and abs have alot to do with pulling timing away from it under hard throttle. i have neither so i sit and spin up to 7 grand grab 2nd spin up 6grand grab third and chirps, plus i have an open diff

I was just driving it for the fun of it. I don't plan on buying the SVT.

think they would notice if we took it for a spin and it came back with a regular zx3 interior and regular focus headlamps? I guess they can keep the screwed up brakes

I thought about it...They would never miss the HIDs. If only they were plug and play...
