what have you been smoking? that ancient platform is only better for drag racing IMO

What are you on? It doesn't have a solid axle, and that one does not run stock springs, shocks, oh wait, the rear was also braced up.

oh ya, and I didn't realize that thunderbirds and cougars got IRS in 89 or whatever, too bad they are autos (that 5 speed would be fun)

but alas, the Focus is still much lighter

89-97 they got irs out back, stock suspension, they have massive body roll, except for the SC's, they got ARC, and you get on it, the suspension firms up automatically, and the seats hold you in tight.

I got traction control on the coug, for now.

I might have to come and gank that battery from you :P

Maybe if my brother comes to the tcs spring opener you can get a ride in the tank and see what you think? He is in the process of doing some DIY tuning.

No offense. But those are the UGLIEST POS's I have ever seen. A Fox body looks better then them.... yuck,
