it was 7pm on 8/28...

there was a light cool breeze in the air, and not more than a sprinkle of rain hitting the lake's surface..
my friend brian and i decided this was prime time to go hit up a local lake for some fishing, little did we know it would be the best hour of fishing we had ever had!!
first few casts were duds, i figured, nah, its gonna be dead today, so i advised my friend to move the boat a little further down the shoreline to where me and my old man always had good luck. we stopped the boat, second cast i hooked a lunker, he jumped twice, it was an awesome sight. i fought that fish for a solid 10 minutes, i'd get him just about in and he'd zing the drag out on a desperate run to escape the net. after a well played battle i finally tired the old boy out and got him in the boat, i haven't weighed it yet, but my low ball weight would be around 5 lbs, although it could weigh more.
that wasn't all either, we pulled in 3 more lunkers around 4-5lbs, and 6 more that were all over 2lbs. best bass fishing ever!

here's the big one
i caught a 8 pounder that had a part of a black bird in it mouth. them large mouths will eat anything!!!!!! but a lure 
. i like the walleye on malacs, my old man lives on that lake( his house is in coon rapids) we were out fo about 15 min and he said to pull in the line we are gonna try some thin. we used a brass spoon on a lindy rig and as soon as that hit bottom my pole tuged a tad and then the tip damm near tuched my fingers i finally got it up and measured it .... 23 and 1/2 inches( not a slot ) biggest fish i ever caught...... i love fishing
