So I got a call this morning at 830, the woman was cryhing telling me she got in an accident, I asked what happened, she told me so I told her call 911...
On her way to work, she hit some soft gravel on the side of the road, and said from there she just remembers the car spinning out of control and the car rolling in the ditch.
The car is totaled, its in my driveway, and its rough, I am at the hospital right now, they sent her from Litchfield to St Cloud because the nero(sp?) surgeon is up here, she has 2 fractured vertibrea, and some nice bruises, but she is going to be ok.
All body panels/glass are busted up except for the hatch door/glass, everything else is out of it. Driver's door doesn't open, and the driver's side of the car is nearly perfectly flat...
The wheels I belive are also done, the rear pass side is bent out at a 45 degree angle, axles pulled out of trans, motor mount busted, radiator is done, car is done. I sent josh some pics, I am on a laptop at the hospital...
So yeah, cams are pulled, upper stress bar is pulled, svt mani is still in it, as is the full exhaust system. She said never again will we own a focus, so, the shit is forsale.
Rod has a set of springs he will prob be selling, 25$ for them svt springs.
Time to go car shopping

Thanks for the support.
She just said she hit the gravel, and turned the wheel and hit the brakes a little bit and they locked up and car swearved really hard to the other side of the road.
The front pass side rotor also busted, so that might have something to do with it, I haven't had a chance to look it over.
As for parts, whatever is on it will prob be up for grabs, I need to get some $$$ to pay the diff on the loan and fund this laptop I bought today

It's actually kinda funny. The sub-frame/unit on the underbody is fine. I could not find any damage at all, besides the weld on the muffler being carcked all the way around. I was pretty amazed at that. The reason it looks like it is, is because the "swing arms" for the rear are bent to shit. They bent right where the e-brake cable passes through them (exactly as they should). That brake rotor scares me though. There really was not any kind of gouge that I could see where something came from either side to break it. There is a mark in the rim from where it bounced out though. She definatly did a good job, and faired very well. The headliner looks kind of cool, all wrinkled up. The seats didn't bend/break like most do. That means there should be quite a bit of salvagable parts, just not body pannels.

I found the rotor in the bitch, it had hair line cracks in it.
I also went and test drove a 05 cool vanilla pt cuiser. They want 13.9 for it and said I could take it for 12,4, wholesale. Woman says no because it has no moon roof at the very least, it has power erverything, its clean, has warranty, its an auto though, and it feels like my stock focus on accel.
Otherwise there is a 02 5 speed power everything black with grey lether moon roof keyless entry for 10k.

Isn't "cool PT cruiser" kind of an oxymoron?

Unless you're like 65 and spend your winters down South.
How fast was she going when this happened?
