what do you guys think of 2004 srt-4? i know neon is well known to be unreliable car and so i'm wondering about the srt-4. i know it has different powertrain, interior so i'm wondering any general opinions from a non srt-4 owner's perspective?

The srt-4 was a great reason to keep the neon. I'd wheel one anyday.

neon SRT-4>caliber SRT-4
Dodge really crapped on themselves by killing the neon srt-4, i'd pimp one

It is one car I would love to have one day. Of course a virgin SRT-4...with the Mopar Stage3......
I'm talking about the older "neon" body style, this new Caliber is ugly in a Aztek kind of way.....ya know?

I'd hit a neon srt-4, dodge's 2nd fastest car next to the viper, does 13's stock and under $20k. AGP makes a turbo upgrade good for something like 350whp and the kit is like 2500$ iirc.

I drove a couple Dodge Calibers today and the 2.0 Sport Edition is a dog, But the 2.4 R/T Edition is a bit snappier. I still think my 05 ZX5 is a much better ride, even though the R/T has a triptronic trans and Both Calibers have a built in beverage cooler, 110volt outlet, and flip down liftgate speakers.

um..yeah... then why are calibers mentioned throughout the post lol also...neons are rated the most dangerous late model car on the road for fatalities in auto accidents!!!
According to one national insurance provider, the Dodge Neon does worse than the average car in all three categories, equaling the reason why it costs so much to insure.

i like them, we raced one in a new E46 M3 and it stayed right next to us up to 130 mph ( it had the stage 2 done to it)

Caliber is ugly, but the 300hp SRT version can't be too slow... but it's not a sports car ;p

The stereotype now is that STR-4 owners are jackasses and most of them want to race all the time. I like the car, but just please don't be like "that."
Oh uhh... where's your JRSC and kaminari lip going?
