Stopped Revving (n20)

So I punched it earlier today with the good ol' laughing gas. Pulled hard through 2nd, 3rd, and continued to pull hard until 5k rpms' in 4th (around 90-95mph), then it just stopped revving higher. Completely would not go any higher, felt like I was hitting the governor. All my guages read normal (oil press was good, good heat, good and rich, etc.). Then as soon as this happened the little ! light goes on (above the CEL). So I obviously shut it down and turn off the spray. The light goes off and doesn't come on again. I then later on did another pull (w/out spray), pulled super hard all the way through one hundered. Ideas as to why it pooped out with the spray on? I have yet to try it again to see if I get the same problem. I am stumped.
I checked everything, and everything checks out fine (plugs are good, oil is fresh, no air leaks, no nitrous leaks (also bottle pressure was perfect), no vac leaks. I checked this before I tried my NA pull.

Maybe the computer sensed something screwed up, and went into limp home mode for a second while you were on the nitrous?

if it went away I wouldn't worry about it unless it does it again often

My governor is a lowely 108
Yea, the car runs fine NA. It still worked well enough to walk an 01-04 mustang gt tonight on the highway....
Hmm, maybe time to ditch the spray and lower my top hp numbers, for some all the time power being a bit higher.

well if the mil( malfunction indecator lamp) came on it set a code, scan it , i have a feeling it pulled a shit load of timing out . obdII is desinged to detect problems with sensores before they fail, if the part does not pass the cars test progam it will set a code, the part could still be good . i would scan the pcm find a code and go from there. have you got it tune for yer cams and other stuff, the stock tune could have seen a incorect timing sequence and improper fuel trims and pulled timing after looking at load to try and save the motor, there may not be any thing wrong, but its all in what the pcm is seeing.

Dump your spray and make more power NA. Your motor is only as good as the weakest point. You said your power went off on the high end with the spray? IIRC you have crower 2 cams? If they are the more agressive cams, you need to get new springs before you break one otherwise you will suffer valve float...

Thats why I don't have the nos...
The power works kit is 3k right now, if I was you, I would hit it, you're a single male in the 18-34 range with disspensible income;)
I know new edge performance has them.
If you want, I'll take that yucky nos system off your hands

I'd rather pay my car off then pay $2500 for a SC.
