Alright, I know a lot of you kids out there know about this problem, and have solved it simpily. I've heard it said, but never explained. How do you disable the Traction control on these cars. Don't say the little button on the counsel, because it still engages up to 20mph. I keep hearing about a fuse to pull. WItch one I have 2 underhood, and one under dash, and will that make the TC light stay on? I'm not the smartest person in the world, but if you explain it I'll figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I honestly could not tell you, I don't have traction control. A buddy of mine had it on his '03 though. He said something about disconnecting a wheel speed sensor, but you loose your ABS that way also.

some cars will go to a default mode if you pull/diconnect the abs, this means that the hcu and ecu switch the valving to put more presure to the rear, your braking will change, and you will lose abs....do it the right way, the safe way and have it tuned out of the pcm. it is proven that you will accel faster with trac controll on versuse off, unless you are a god at clutch action. id keep the trac option and yes i know how cool it is to do a front wheel burny. but its not worth the parts damage that will ocurre from the brakes not working right.. the lightning and cobras ,pulling the fuse will cause it to go into limp mode , so its up to you.

yeah dont do the fuse pull thingy, u'll lose ur abs "NOT" good.... since u got an 02 it's safer to get an tune to turn off the TC completly and still being able to drive around wit ABS....

You can have it disabled with a tune, you can also do it by pulling the fuse but that does disable the ABS and gives you a rather nasty rear brake bias.

No big deal if you don't mind the back end of your car passing you every time you hit the brakes hard.

any clue witch fuse in particular, because I have 3 ABS fuses, 2 underhood, and 1 under dash?

No clue sorry, just start yanking them and see what happens (btw-I can not be held responsible for any bad advice given here as I may be under the influence and therefore not completely coherent)
