Well I can get to a lot more of the engine now, guess I'll have to go over it with a fine brush before the next meet to make it presentable.
I should show you the picture of my engine bay about 2 years ago when I decided to clean it for the first time.

Mine just stays clean
Actually, I usually just wipe it down with a damp cloth or glass cleaner. On the off chance that there is something those won't get then brakeclean gets the nod.
The key is to not let anything leak...........Justin

i use greased lighting, on a mild warm engine, let it sit for 1 minute spray clean ( high pressuer) and i use a water based tire shine on all the plastic parts i need to defingure print the headr but thats a lot of work, they are cooked on.nblume wrote: Maybe this should be a different thread, but what do you guys use to clean off your engine and such?
