Just wondering if any of you guys play, have played or want to try paintball?
I started playing a couple years ago, usually just a few time each summer and it is a blast.
The one game my buddies and I never miss is the big WW2 theme game Special Foces paintball puts on each year, Two teams of about 150 people each going at it for about eight hours straight.
Any interest?

My brother in law and I might get a small group together for an informal game soon, just a few guys shooting at each other.
You will want camo or dark clothes you don't care about and if you only wear one layer be prepared for the sting,Paintballs hurt, but only for a minute.
The only other requirement (besides a mask) is a nut cup, one of the guys that went to a big game with us last year got hit in the nuts and he didn't have a cup on. He missed 10 days of work and they swelled up to the size of a grapefuit
Needless to say, everyone that knows him that plays paintball now wears a cup.

That's pretty much it, A gun and tank if you can get one but we usually have extras in the group.
If anyone knows of or has access to private land or an old farm it's always nice to find new places to play.
The best place we ever played was an abandoned farm that was on property owned by the Koch refinery, There was a three story house, barn, machine shed, milkhouse and it was surrounded by woods and had a few old vehicles lying around.
One of the guys we knew worked security for the refinery and he got permission for us to play there.

The gun is the biggest expense if you want a nice one.
I've got a Tippman A-5 with a response trigger and a bigshot barrel, I also just got a tank so I can run compressed air instead of co2.
If you shop around paint can be cheap, Fleetfarm has 2000 round cases for ike $25.00 now.

I'm down to play some time. I just played with a bunch of buddies from school yesterday. It was a blast.
