Well, you do underdrive your accesories, so, your alternator and your water pump spin slower, so, you have less current coming from your alternator and your water pump movces less water, but, as long as your coolant is good, you will be fine there unless you really race that car...

The stock pulley also has a balancer on it, so, your motor will viberate a lot more, honestly, I would not use a UDP unless the motor/pulley/flywheel where balanced all together, you are going to put your motor off balance, you prob won't have problems running it, but, it will take away from the life span of your motor, mainly, the bearings.

Do you have any other work done to your car?

Eh it's fine. I have one on my car. You just need to dremel a little off of your inside cover of you UDP. It's not bad, easy install (for the most part) too. I felt a slight gain from it, and you can feel the power have some play in it mainly when idling (lights flicker a bit).

Good NA mod in my opinion.

I don’t think its a good mod. Taking off a vibration damper isn’t a good idea. Internally balanced engine, or not.

actually the focus engine is internally balanced so the stock pulley doesn't need a balancer on it. It's partially why our UDPs are so much cheaper when compared to the UDP of say a Mustang. I ran one for almost a year and didn't have any issues with it. Although some people have reported problems and blame the udp. After what I've read, I wouldn't run one, it's not worth the risk for a couple extra hp.

why any one would under drive anything is beyond me, you are flrirting with disaster. the water pump cools the motor, you have a alumminum head, it warps easy! why would you want to do that!
