While driving into work to day to put in some OT I was fallowing a semi and I was not riding his a$$. Driving along on 35W on my hour long drive to work and the semi kicked something up I am guessing a rock but from the size it could have been something else. The only thing I heard was a loud thump and thought nothing about it.

I parked at the back door of the building started walking up the stairs to the door look down and threes a nickel size dent in my hood! Run back down to look at it and its down to bare metal with the paint flaking around the dent. Its about an 1/8" to 1/4" deep two inches from the drivers side edge of the hood and directly above the tire.

This has been a crazy month first I get a speeding ticket while lost in Dubuque Iowa then a couple days ago I get a ticket for an illegal U-turn and this morning this happens. I doubt that it will cost more than my deductible to fix so the insurance will probably not cover anything. Things usually happen in three's so I hope this bad luck streak is over. I'll get some pic's up of the damage later today.

Any one else have such a bad luck streak as I'm on right now?

Get a CF Hood. I bet you money it will be cheaper.

I don't know if anyone makes a CF hood yet for a 05+. But thats what I did. The hood was cheaper then replacing the orig, or having paint-less dent repair fix the hail damaged hood.

You should have told that cop iowa sucks and your brakes are not that strong
