Well, I can't make it. I just talked to my Dad and we are going to be pulling one of these,

Out of this,

It's my Dads '61 Austin Healey vintage racer, It developed a rather nasty oil leak last season and the motor is coming out so we can see about fixing it.

It's got to get done because th season is rapidly approaching, The engine pic is from a different Healey that's running Webber carbs. My Dad runs 3 SU's, I'd post one of his but I don't have one on the PC and my scanner is toast.

I'll have to figure out another way to get the antenna base to you Nils.

Haha, I just looked at the names of the people going.

Thanks for adding that Nils,

I'm pretty sure I don't need a baseline, 60bucks to tell me I have aboot 366hp.

Hello

I have never been to a meeting before since I have not had any of the days off work but this Sunday I do have work off!

I have an automatic focus and even though all I have is a short air intake it would be interesting to see what the actual horsepower is. Is there any more spots open for the dyno?

Thanks

The wire wheels on your Dads car would be the stockers unless their chromed. The ones on my Dads are Minilite copies.

If you think your old mans sounds good you really need to hear a race Healey, Your dads should be about 148 hp stock.

This one was 250 the last time it was on a dyno, It sounds incredible.

I'll have to see about bringing it to a meet, It's still sort of streetable (barely).

Your biotch Steve.... ;) I'll just grab that base some other time. Prolly come out to get a few more boxes of plugs for the summer in the next couple weeks. I'll get it from ya eventually ;)

Plenty of room left on the dyno! Nice to see some newcomers!!!

Meet us in Tousley's parts lot at 10:15!!!!

Also if anyone needs directions or anything, or needs a new drunk dial number, etc.

I'll blame the whole thing on my wife

This Saturday is her first weekend day off in about the last month and I had originally planned on pulling the motor out of the race car Saturday.

For some reason she thinks we need to spend some "quality family time" together so the work on the race car got moved to Sunday. I do have to humour her since she does put up with my fixation on fast cars.

I do want to get together with you guys when it's not -40 degrees so we can look at cars and shoot the bull.

BTW- Chris, you can ask Mars about the little mods I have done to mine, he drove it.
