Well, weekend after this I'm turboing my other SPI. Then once that's running good I'll pull the other one out of storage.
Well, whilts wokring on my auto today I stumbled upon some shit. I dunno if for sure I am making it until tomarrow, apperantly, while working with the sears home improvement rage in my body I chipped a tensioner
If I can't find a tensioner in the bone yard tomarrow, I am going to talk to a friend and I will bring his car, if he allows it...so, I should hopefully make it, I hope...
FYI:
(Roseville, Minn.) Weather permitting, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will close Interstate 494 in both directions from 10 p.m. Friday, April 21 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 24. The closed area is between I-394 and Highway 62. The closure is necessary so that crews can set beams for the new bridge being constructed at Highway 7.
Northbound I-494 detour: Exit at Highway 62, go east on Highway 62 to Highway 169, go north on Highway 169 to Interstate 394, go west on I-394 to north I-494.
Southbound I-494 detour: Exit at Interstate 394, go east on Interstate 394 to Highway 169, go south on Highway 169 to Highway 62, go west on Highway 62 to south I-494.
Just in case if anyone is coming from that direction.
if your comming from the southwest (ie eden praire and the such) take hwy 5 and or 212 east to 169 or even hwy 100 and take either or north to by pass the construction. both will lead to 694 just like 494 does.
I was going to have my car on the dyno but now I can't. I decided this past friday to put the SVT Suspension kit I bought.
The front suspension went on just fine but when I got to the rear the bolt holding the spring in would not budge through the bushing. After trying many methods and seeing burning rubber I broke down and took it to an auto shop to have them fix it and do an alignment. Since they have to order the bushing to have it replaced it won't be till at least monday until I will get the car back. Should I come to the meet anyway? I would have to drive a 91 mazda miata. Any thoughts?
My focus will be a no-show unless someone has a car trailor and an expendable wallet for fuel costs...
Parts I need I thought I didn't...
TPS pigtail from an SVT.
Vac line from master cylinder to manifold, for an SVT
both vac lines from the stupid ac condensor on the fire wall to manifold, for SVT.
Air box, from and SVT.
But, there is an 80% chance I will show up with something that is more fun to drive then my retarded slocus.
So, i have no clue whats going on. Another day that totally sucked ballz. And now I am tearing into a laptop to repair it for a friend, lets hope this at least goes decent...
