If I'm not mistaken, that's a 4.6. Don't these older Mustangs require some serious modification to accommodate the width of the 4.6 - something about removing the shock towers and installing a totally different front suspension system?

Yes, it's a very involved conversion but it's becoming a lot more common especially with guys installing the new 5.0 Coyote into vintage Mustangs.
