This topic is ridiculous. "rice" is such an overused stupid term.

Rice refers to the origin of the car. Originally it was all japanese cars that were considered "rice burners". i.e. civics, accords, integras, etc. For that matter anyone that isn't japanese would be silly to consider the term racist. I'm japanese and I've never considered the term to be even close to racist.
