Pappy has me thinking my next car should be a Mustang.

According to Autoblog, there's at least a CHANCE it's gonna be substantially under $30:
"Watch for the Focus ST to launch sometime in 2012. We haven't heard any rumblings about pricing, but if Ford can keep things near the $25,000 mark (fingers crossed!), we'll be in business. Oh, and consider our hot hatch comparison test planned."

SHE says I can get one AFTER we get married... (and provided I can afford it). Cheap wedding, here I come (or would that just be wrong?)

Yeah. we don't get the inline 5 volvo engine that volvo's over here already have. just dumb.

Aaah... that's a shame. One of the things that sounded so impressive-- besides the exhaust note (as well as a person can tell from an e-vid)-- was how he talked about torque a'plenty in pretty much any gear at almost any rev.

That said, just looking at the numbers, the 2.0 ecoboost SHOULD be equally torquey with more ponies to boot...

Probably has something to do with Ford no longer owning Volvo.
