Thats a really good deal for those wheels. I've only seen another set of those in a 4x108 PCD and thats probably back in 2004.CleanZX3 wrote:http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4641865

I don't think they were Saleens. Bought them new from a wheel shop.
They looked like these, except with Enkei center caps:

No that particular car isn't local, but we did have a similar T-red locally. He went by slingersvt but recently sold his car to blackcoog, I wanna say his name was Mike but can't remember for sure. If it's the car you were thinking of it had white wheels...FORDSVTPARTS wrote:Is that car local? I can't remember the guys name.

so how did we go from me wanting something in a dark color, mesh style, 18" or so, to you guys showing me silver 5 spoke borbet wheels on a vdub that are barely different than FSVT wheels?

How big are the brakes on a CSVT? can you run 15" wheels?
With the right offset and tire size it would look good. Fox body mustangs can look good with 15s, and they are probably about the same size as your car. If you are going for the stretch and poke look though, 15s would look way too small.ClOckwOrkSVT wrote:those are tight but i wonder how tiny the 15" wheels would look on a car that originally came with 16"'s. keep in mind this is a much bigger car than your focus's.

Yup, Mike. He had some different wheels at the AV show last year but I think he had a CF hood like in your pic.Redlineracer12 wrote:No that particular car isn't local, but we did have a similar T-red locally.
