If I get about 2 weeks notice, I can be sure to make it. And I do have a nice little propane weber grill that can tag along.

Let me look at the February calender and I'll post a couple possible dates.

We still need a location, from what I understand White Bear Lake has some good access and parking areas around the lake.

White Bear Lake would be an excellent choice...

I haven't been on it this year, but i grew up in White Bear Lake and used to go on it every winter. And there's always been good access-- the boat launch by the VFW just a block E. of Hwy 61, is just one good spot.

There is the other lake acess on the Mahtomedi side at the beach.

That's the one that I hear is usually good for cars since it's apparently a real level access.

There's also Matoska Park, right by the island. (also 3 blocks from my house....) If you guys promise to be good, we could fire up the grill at my place after we meet.

Yah, good call on the access from the beach, since there is also some parking availability there, in case if that were needed...

Lake access from here's usually good, and parking's pretty good....And you can harass the rich pricks heading onto the island...

We could always get a TRO for each of them....10 feet should be adequate separation....
