Well, at Midway, depending on course lay out.

But at the last autoX, alot of people did'nt know if they should up shift to 2nd or not. I ran some laps in 1st the whole time, some I upshifted into 2nd. So thats about your ballpark.

Typically, you won't reach anything above 40. Just depends on how short of distance you reach a speed...haha

Hmm, well with my bone stock torque monster 2.0l duratec that outta be, well something. I wonder what kinda revs my car would be running in first at 40 mph? Wonder if I would hit the rev limiter? I can see that a stage 2 TB would be an advantage with response but since Steve won't sell me parts anymore... :( I think I'll find an empty parking lot somewhere and try it out this weekend. Maybe I'll do laps around the building at work on Saturday after I finish.

If your worried about hitting the rev limiter, there is always a second gear to use.
