Steve, Roman did that, the stock gasket was in there, he did that stuff in addition everywhere. Don't ask me, it's all cleaned out now.

I got that intake for free from a local FocalJetter, and the hole below the TB was poorly ported, or was in the process of being ported, or experimented on? The edge of the hole came uncomfortably close to where the stock gasket mated up, and the surface itself had marring on it. It was 3 am, and I needed the car the next day( My dad and I swapped the motor in 11 hours, overnight). What would you do? It worked fine.

The header leaked with the stock gasket, and didn’t leak with silicone. Where else did I use it "in addition"? The EGR? I can’t remember.

I do have my original intake that you can have, but it looks like the new motor came with one.

That clutch didnt last very long, I would choose another if I had a chance to do it over. How did the flywheel look?

What time is your flight on the 22nd? I work right at the airport so if I give you a ride it'd be in the morning between 7am and 8:30 am.

The flywheel was perfect still. To late to change the clutch now, haha.

Since sunday is the next day I have free I'll start around 11am, anyone is welcome to show. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it up.

Well, thanks to my phone support (rod ;)) the clutch is done, tranny is in, and the engine is sitting in the bay, halfway bolted into the mounts. It's finally feeling like its coming together :)
