you can try to weld it but it will be hard to get all the right curves,.. contact rossvt he did the work on mine and he does good work welding way work if you have the ability to english wheel the whole tail door

Mines an auto( even though im converting it next summer). It rides ok but since you rebuiolt that tranny it should be fine. Auto's aren't that bad, but only if they can handle the power.

I make a part that gules on over the hatch.
It will be ready for market in about two months.

The only thing you'll need to do is sand and paint to match your car. at least thats the goul. I have to do some more r&d for finished product.
There may be a part for wagons as well , pending my time available.
