Maybe it's because Ford only stores key codes by VIN for ten years and also because it's a Cougar and it's always been the biggest freak in the Ford lineup as far as poor VIN info.![]()
I'd honestly be surprised if I could get a key code by VIN on a 2002 Cougar.
