They pretty much concentrate on what the law allows them to, so the last 24 months (3 in 12 they pull your DL or 4 in 24).
Also the 100MPH thing is an on the spot suspension, not wait for a court date thing. With the court they look more at how far over you where, more than double the posted speed won't look good.

IIRC anything more than 25 over the posted is considered wreckless.
im kinda curious where you were going that you were doing 70+ in a 35...
i think you need to buy a geo metro. i really dont get why its so hard for people to not speed
It sucks that this is ganna be a headache for you but i kinda hope you take it and learn. Go talk to the judge and take whats coming, its all you can do

Yeah, doesn't look good for you, unfortunately. Regardless of whether you get a suspension or not, it's gonna be quite a bit in fines, and expect your insurance to jump quite a bit.
Hope you learned your lesson, the school of hard knocks has a steep grading curve. Just be glad you didn't hit someone, vehicular manslaughter would be a helluva lot worse.

Never been to court for anything in MN before. Got a few speeding tickets over my 14 years here, but nothing over +15mph, and all on a highway. While I can see 80 in a 55, 74 in a 35 is just a bad scene. I can see why the box was checked.
I don't know what possible excuse you could give for this last one. IMO, the best you can hope for is a reduction from endangerment at best, and a healthy fine.

Man up and take the punishment.
I would have nailed you with careless at a minimum had I stopped you going that fast............
You got lucky he only tagged you for speed. Be glad you didn't hit someone........

it was just a countryish road broad daylight at 1 45 pm, straight road i could see, that i have been driving down my entire life and actually know one of the people that live off of it, the driveways are super long so its not like a car can jump out of no where, just was havin a lil fun and didnt see the cop sittin behind the tree/bush/sign hiding and waitin for someone like me

y judge at all? that seems rude to me, different if i were to know you but rude as far as the forum goes and the fact that i havent even introduced myself in person to anyone at the meet at all, y not judge me there in person....at least its more warranted thenzx36D wrote:ive held off judgement waiting to hear why you were going that fast... so ill quote myself hoping for an answer this time aroundzx36D wrote:im kinda curious where you were going that you were doing 70+ in a 35...![]()

What do you want? applause? cmon man, i guess that we all have gone a little to fast from time to time, but 74 in a 35 ??? thats disaster waiting to happen. If you dont want people telling you that you are wrong or not share the same opinion as you, better keep things like this for yourself. About the court date, just go there and like Pappy said, just man up and see what they have to say about it.(it wont be good)
