I was just asking because he also had the motor on craigslist for 1000 and I wanted to make sure no one on here had inside infor that the motor was f'ed up and that's why he wasn't selling it on here. But I just picked it up from him he quarenteed me that it runs great

So the pink one has a regular Zetec in it and he saved the old SVT engine?

I was under the impression that he put all the good SVT stuff into the car that's now pink, I guess he didn't.

EDIT-After going back and looking at the listing for the pink car I can see that it does have an SVT engine in it, I take it he had a spare SVT engine as well?

Why hasn't this guy chimed in yet?

i think he said the pink one came with an svt motor already in it but not all the other stuff. he was gonna put the one i just bought in a grey zx2 he had. the pink one was at his buddys house so i didnt get to take a look at it. i asked why he didnt try selling the stuff on here he said he wanted to try craigslist first. he did guarentee me that the engine does run so im taking his word but if it doesnt hell be getting a visit from me again

I wouldn't worry about the engine. Chris is a good guy. If I remember, that car only had like 60 or 70 something thousand miles on it?

Epic. Best of luck getting yours put back together. If that cluster only has 68k on it, I should buy it from you....

if you want it make me a reasonable offer and let me know when you wanna come take it out. it doesnt have the bezel

oh i dont see how it can be if your just replacing a broken part with one. what you do with it after i sell it is your thing. its if you sell it and lie then it is

Hi you all, Yep thats my car. I havent been on these boards at all much anymore. Been kinda a hermit. But yep gotta sell her, someone said it in a earlier post, more than just a loss of job....Lost job, wife, house, selling EVERYTHING I own and getting back surgery in a month to boot...2009 what a year!

But yea I was originaly under the impression I had bought a SVT shell but was wrong, just a ZX3 shell with SVT motor, I switched everything else I needed over to make it a clone. As for the Pink....If you saw my last car you would understand.
