He did good with the wot tune but was unable to cure my low idle and hanging revs which took Tom all of 5 minutes to get figured out. Also alot of things were left on that shouldnt have been such as when the rear o2 was shut off he left the heater on and there were a few other small things.
550 bucks and trailering the car over 5 hrs one way... i'll give him one thing, he did tell me it was the first svt focus he did.

I also wouldn't trust his dyno for acurate readings. I ended up with 181whp @ 6.5psi and right after me a wrx went on and got 205@ 20psi. anyone else see anything wrong with that picture?
What's your exact setup?

It sounds like you're just making note that DB's dyno might have been reading low when you were there? Is that right?

So it sounds like the dyno might have been reading about 20hp shy then. A standard JRSC SVT should be about 200 whp where a BBK car would be around 220 whp.

So that means Pappy's car could be running 220 WHP

I'd guess it means that the dyno has been recalibrated.

When Nils and Kyle ran they were fairly even which means he should be right around 200 whp since thats what Kyles setup usually does.

Steve that dyno reads low compared to others.

To be honest on a dynojet I should read around 220. My car has a very good combo of mods and runs 3 more pounds of boost then even a BBK JRSC does....

His car dyno'd where I'd imagine it would on that dyno.

So it was $550 for dyno tuning then I can assume?

Do they provide all flash and software or you have to bring your own?

I want a place I bring my car, nothing else, they tune it and if I have any concerns or drivability issues they fix them at a very minimal cost (if not free).
Does that exist?

HI-tech in Elk river did mine.. I forget what "touch up tune" would be.. For some resone $100 an hour on the dyno sticks in my head..

I believe they had it on the dyno for an 1.5 or 2 hrs for its first intial tune.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a "flash" because of there mark up. But then again they might add a little here and there since you didn't buy the "Flash" from them....

Pretty much no.

Most remote tuners will give you a good base tune and then a couple free tweaks but I've never heard of free adjustments on the dyno.
