The oldest "kittens" we have are 8 weeks, but we have cats as young as a few months too. They are all barn cats though, no shots.

my mom fell in love with this little 9 week old kitten. After some stupid crap with the coon rapids humane society they gave us a deal and we got the kitten......something about I wrote a bad check to them back in 1999...... even though I was only 12 and didnt have any checks in my name at that point..... but ayway. Got the kitten and a bunch of goodies, plus a bunch of coupons for free stuff for about 145.00 I told my mom bout the free kittens and she said oh well.... she liked this little guy too much. he has a very spunky personality and is very jumpy. Hasn't even been home a day and already acts like he owns the place. My other cat is pissed.
