The car realy wants to get up and go now.Im still trying to get the foot work down,But as for now its working great.

i have always thought of this theory that if the filter is soaked, it should pulled colder air into your system and the water mist that got sucked in will help cool the air down and vaporized by the time it reaches the combustion chamber. I have no mechanical background so correct me if I'm wrong

Your kinda right. What the problem is is too much water in too short a time thus water droplets or drops or worse instead of very fine mist. It is the evaporative effect that causes the cooling and a soaking wet filter does not provide for the type of evaporative effect necessary to cool down an incoming aircharge. Now you could set up a "humidifier" system and have the incoming air pulled through a damp foam element but you need to keep the element damp somehow and the physical size required to pull enough air through it to do any good would be prohibitive.
Water and alchohol injection systems are sold to cool the incoming aircharge but they are sprayed in a very fine mist near the heat of the engine and the water vapor is consumed cooling the charge. If the water is not atomized and is introduced into the system in a liquid form such as drops or larger quantities then it becomes a possible agent of destruction.
We don't want that

WHO: FORDSVTPARTS

I got a chance to try this out on my car,and realy like it.It's a modified stock TB ported ot to 65mm.
Because it's a ford part fitment is perfect. The overall performance is great. Throttle responce is improved
at all RPM's.It is a little tricky learning to drive with it at first, because the car does want to take off and go.
This is a good part for anyone who can't spend 400 bucks on a TB. And it looks stock.A very good mod for
anyone that autocrosses or road race.
