lol. my '07 was 12k w/ 13miles and a 100,000mile/5-year warranty
okay, sure it probably has power windows and locks, but it's still an old focus. lame and ugly. good luck to the seller though. he's going to need it.

that being said, my 07 is rated 37mpg hwy, 24 city. I average about 26 driving mostly just too and from work (6-miles each way)

wait.. it's a ztech.... nvmd.

Pappy wrote: Since a focus has an 11 gallon tank the math is extremely simple. Clear your trip odo, when you fill. Run until empty. add a decimal. Boom that's your MPG w/in about 2 mpg.

Ex.: I get highway 310 miles per tank fill (that was rochester and back).

310/10 = 31mpg (easy to estimate amount).

310/11 = 28.1 mpg (actual mpg)

So You are telling me, you got 451 miles on one fill. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
my car is light! i MADE it that way, i kept the SMALLER unsprun stuff FOR a reasone!!! and yes i get about 400 miles on a tank on long trips!!!! your jelous, yes? if you were a real mechanic you might know how to do some of this shit!!! i know you went through at least some of the asset ford program, right! its not to hard to figure out how to make it easier for your engine to work( ease of opperation=fuel economy and more power, witch= better power to weight= more power=less effort to move a mass= im a god!) your rims are heavy, you exhaust is heavy, your added fiberglass is heavy, your fancy head lights put a strain on the charging system and cause the alt to load, witch loads your motor. and im sure you run with the air on? and wider tires= more friction, how heavy is that " the most agessive clutch in the universe!!!!!!" is your filter clean? how often do you purge your injectors?(benny of having a flow bench handy) hows them roller followers? oh how much of yer vent gases flow into your intake? hmmmmmm its all in the hand book my friend, do your home work for once and you might learn some thing. 8)

Can't you ever accept that you are wrong? If you really want to prove your point, I'll tell you when the mnsc duluth cruise is in June. I'll let you fill at the start and then when I run out and get gas, I'll watch you go the extra 100 miles.

BTW: Your car vs. my car in weight makes me LOL.

Here's my quick rundown of how you are incorrect, from multiple aspects.
#1) Weight.
Your car: Stock body. Stock interior. Heavy cheaper 17's. A hatch that is full of filler. Also a hatch with a huge ass stereo in it.

My Car: Fiberglass shell seats, no subs, full urethane body parts, carbon fiber hood, lighter 17's, etc.

2) Fuel Economy.
Do I need to even go here, for motor vs. motor. The SVT has MUCH lower EPA fuel economy than the ZX3.

3) Areodynamics.
Your car: Stock body, stock suspension.
My Car: SVT spoiler, 2" drop, front valence.

4) Clutch.
Not sure on yours.

Mine is the full CM Stage 4 clutch kit with a shaved down flywheel, lighter and less rotating mass.

Alt. Load. (Not that this has ANYTHING to do w/ fuel economy)
You: Not sure.
Me: Grounding setup, haven't used my air in over a year. Less draw from the HID's v. Halogens.

Exhaust.
You: Stock SVT
Me: Full aftermarket stainless steel with no cats. It weighs a HELL of a lot less than stock.

You: Owned.

lol no shit, who cares, i get some weird ass numbers out of my ST too, depending on conditions, but back to the main reason for this post, that zx3 they did sucks ass, there is a reason it gets sold so much! and it aint cuz its so cool. anyone want a really nice laugh, go to the Forest lake ford dealership and they have a 2005 zx3 N02 saleen for sale, its listed on cars.com. anyways its been on their lot since later 2005, and if u ask them how long they have had it for they will lie to you, almost noone knows anything about the car other then it has nos, and one salesman there said he wanted 26 for it! lol there was another one there when i asked about a test drive, he said "a down payment much be placed on the car before it can be test drove." then i showed him what i was driving (2005 gt mustang convertible) and he was a little more willing to let me drive, but still tried giving me a price of 25. ( i go there all the time about that car, just to hear different stories and to get a good laugh and make them look like idiots everytime!)

its all in knowing what you are talking about, if you know what you are talking about their view of you changes, and they get very threatened when you are talking circles around them about a car. then u get the respect, and you make the moves. they hope you come in there not knowing anything about the vehicles. lol thats how i got my 2005 ST brand new with all options minus leather seats for only 16, and i bought my 2005 GT mustang convertible (first one in the state of MN) for 32 insted of almost 35 like they wanted)
