Throttle body!!!! Aftermarket or port yout stocker and get that Effin intake put on!!
I can help you with a ported stocker if you want to try one out, I may even have a spare Duratec TB in my garage.
Next would be a real live header to free up the other end, I wouldn't buy an exhaust until it was really needed.
BTW Scotty- It's a 2.3 Duratec, The SVT bits no worky, his engine is backwards.

That duratec would rape some shit with a 55 or 65 shot, and would hold up quite well also.

All you would need to do / know to run it:
Get some new plugs, I would say motorcraft AZFS22C, but double check on focaljet since yours is a duratec.
Install your new intake and tap a hole, I'm thinking it's a 3/4" about 6 in. straight out from your throttle body.
Install my kit.
Run 92/93 octane (93 octane is best) when you plan to spray.
Flip the toggle switch open, flip the switch once you hit 2nd gear.
Only rules, don't spray first, don't spray before 3,500pms, don't hit your rev limiter.
I would, launch, hit second (it would be around 4k when I got 2nd traction) flip the switch, then just drive the rest of the way up. I would ussually shift about 200rpms before redline to be safe.
My kit, always runs rich which is good for your engine. It also only runs when the switch is flipped AND you have the gas peddle fully depressed, which means if you need to shut it down, all you have to do is take your foot off the peddle, then eventually flip the switch.
It's easy to run, and the gains are great. Plus you got a Fin sweet engine for it, I wish I had a 2.3 sometimes
