We are going to try to get my hood to work, hopefully some of my ideas will pan out. If not I may have to, *shudder* go pins in the back corners off the strut towers, and just A) completely remove the hood for shows, or B) get shocks / pedestals that lift the hood straight up about a foot or so.
Hopefully though, we can get some good thread out of those holes, so I won't need pins or anything.

Well after some FJ searching and some putsing around, I figured out why she wont fire on up.
My new engine was out of a auto, non-Ac'd car. Well we thought we had switched everything out. We missed one minor piece, yet extremely important. I was told by rod to switch out the crank position sensor from my manual block to the new auto block which I did. What I didn't know, until now, is you also need to switch out the housing of this part, behind the flywheel. As the auto one goes in angled and the manual makes the sensor go in straight. IE) The sensor wasn't reading correctly so my car wouldn't start. Not a SUPER horrible issue I guess, seeing how we already need to pull my tranny to put in a new slave.
Now I at least now what is left to get the beast running. I'm pissed it was something so fricken minor though....

Since I'm almost done and don't want to drop my tranny in my garage. I'm towing it to work and hitting it on thursday night. No more messing around, time to drive this bisnatch...
Now I have to go pull the front lip

, so I can make it onto the flatbed.

For some reason I think Rod is going to come up on top, he has what, a year of banked down time on the meter?

I think now my car has the second overall downtime next to rods. It's justin up next round. His stock motor has been boosted for FAR to long
