That is not the problem, it was the fact everyone was fighting me the whole way so I figured I didn't pay for it, its not my equipment, so, I just pretty much thru my hands in the air and walked away.

When we started with the box, we where smoking, as in, zipping right thru it, it was only about 3 hours and it was seeing final assembly, I had to go in the house to watch the kid, so, my brother and him where outside, the box did not need to be double layered, I had made gussets to be glued to the inside of the box to support it, these where thrown away and the box was double layeered and i was told to shut up....

I also tried to pull that he get a good sub sonic filter, the factory 25hz in the amp was not enough, I belive it required a 30hz@24db, again, no one listened.

I tried to tell him that 2 amps on 1 sub is a bad idea, but, it can be done, but, there could be reliability issues, I wanted to test each amp w/ NO coil on it, I was told thats too much work, just do it like that bla bla bla...if you know anything about car audio, you know that the impendence on a sub when it is powered is awlays changing, so, you can not get a very stable reading, so, I tried to dial it in with my meter w/ the coils hooked up...I did not like the idea, and, i set the amps low, I didn't get to do it the way I wanted...I 8really* hoped that he would not have cooked it and was hoping he would come back after getting play time on it so I could adjust it the way I wanted.

No one listens to me, they act like I talk out my ass, but, when its not my money involved, I honestly don't give a shit, I don't have to pay for it when its broken. I have not personally killed anything car stereo related in a good 5 years under normal wear and tear...I think the last time I had issues was with the kicker L7 series, the biuld quality is lacking, the tensil leads fall off, and they are not reliable in the long run.

Another time, about 5-6 years ago, me and a friend ran 1200rms to a set of 12's to see what would happen, 30 secs of a bass drop we had smoke rolling out of a sealed box

I guess there is something good about the aroma of the smoke rolling out of the sub box, Just before that, kick ash bass was heard :P

I wanted to hear something with a fast double bass drum in it at 140+ db and I wanted to hear ina-godda-da-vida and hand of doom, slayer versions...and some danzig, meh. I should buy a mini van and some woofers

Right now he was talking about buying a recone kit or buying some type r's, I dunno what he is going to do, I told him sell the solo, sell 1 of the amps, buy 4 type r 15's, and put 1 extra battery in the trunk of his stang and put a run of 1/0 into the stang. He said he was pretty upset last night and needed to take his anger out on something so I wonder what he broke...
