My mom had a 68 Riviera growing up. I was mad when they sold it and told my parents I wanted to buy so i could drive it in 4 years at 16.

My first car was a '68 Riviera, that's the car that started my love of Buicks.

One of my favorite cars was my '69 Riviera (below). Rare car too, no power options, bucket seats, floor shift, 3.42 posi and added to that was a big cam and a beefed up TH400.

and like. My favorite part was the chrome grill over the rear center speaker the whole height of the seat. And for whatever reason I always liked to ride on the rear package shelf.

Added some speed holes to the block, stock Zetecs don't like it when the boost spikes to 15psi.

Just had the turbo rebuilt and come to find the boost line was mis-routed. Worked fine with the dying turbo because it wasn't capable of more than 8-10psi but the new turbo works really, really well.

Spiked 15psi on the first test drive but didn't blow, re-routed the boost line and it made the 8psi it was supposed to but the damage was done and it snapped two rods the next day. Picked up another stock Zetec and I'm in the process of swapping it in now.

Bummer, to say the least. Should have mentioned sooner, I have some "extra" engines available.

PM headed your way, may actually need another if I decide to put one together with forged rods and pistons.
