On an old Gasser truck?

Depends if you really want all out speed or just the coolness factor and drivability.

I'd say the biggest motor with a big old GMC blower on top.

This would work,

CLEAN '61 Buick, but I can't say that I'm a fan of the uber tall wheels. Kinda look stupid, and, IMHO, always ruin the appearance of classic cars. Not that I have an opinion or anything. Just sayin'. :D

The wheels do let it down a bit but that '61 body is just Soooooooooo sexy.

I don't know what Chrysler was thinking in the early 60's, but some of their designs were pretty bazaar (also check out the 1961 Dodge). I believe they referred to the style as “forward flare”. Whatever it was, their cars looked like they got whomped with the ugly stick. Looks like they got whomped real good.
Having said that, this is part of what makes these Chrysler products appealing today. I’d love to have one of these with a big old wedge motor.

Yeah, Chrylser had some pretty bad designs back then.

I've really grown to like a lot of those early 60s designs though, they've kind of gotten lost between the stuff from the 50s and the muscle car boom of the mid 60s on so a lot of people don't even know about them.
