Yesterday I had my airbox out and I noticed my throttlebody has a metal throat plate. Based on this, I get the impression that it's one of the stage 2 ports that a guy on FJ was doing 6 or so years ago. Is there any other way I would have ended up with a metal plate rather than the stock plastic one?
Also, I put on a Spyder cold air intake and a set of CFM UDPs. Fitment of the CAI isn't the best, and the rubber hoses provided for the couplings and the PCV are cheap, unreinforced rubber. The pulleys were a breeze to put on, even without an impact.
Thanks Macky for a great deal on the parts! I have to say I am quite pleased with the results overall.
Ported throttlebody, mods installed.

Sounds like you have the Stage2 throttle body allright, Ford didn't produce ANY with metal plates.
