When i had my breather hose out of valve cover down to my CAI it was spitting out oil down to the filter. Is that normal or just because of the cams I was running? Someone told me it was because of the cams but I'm not so sure. Also now that I got the SRI on I capped them off. It works but I can def feel restriction in lower rpm. Is that just because of the intake or does it have something to do with me capping them off?

the problem is that on the SRI where the breather comes into the intake is right above the throttle body and I don't want to get oil in there. :?

That is how mine is set up, use the hose from the stock set up, there is an elbow on the intake housing that it normally connects to. Take that off the intake box and connect a K&N breather filter (it is a nice tight seal) tighten up the clamp then clmp that sucker on thevalve cover and zip tie that bitch somewhere safe, done, enjoy a cold beverage.
Slower than your stock focus.

I have my breather hose routed to the intake tube like the directions recommended... should I get a breather filter instead?

I made a custom breather for the time being but i ordered one which arrive on fri. I used some 5/8" hose a pvc elbow some pantyhose and a rubber band. I'm using the elbow to point it up so that the oil will settle and go back in while still being able to get in some air.
