HIDs off Craigslist

So I ended up buying those HIDs off Craigslist this morning for $80. The clear outter lenses are in pretty rough shape. The Left light's clear lense has a good sized chunk missing from the bottom corner, the corner that gets covered by the grill. Otherwise they're both pretty badly sun bleached. Both lights have all the bulbs and ballasts though.

I have the stock halogen headlight housings on my SVT, and I was wondering if it is possible to swap that clear housing or not. I also have to talk to tgnorman for the new harness stuff.

No, the housings aren't interchangeable. I think you can swap lenses but that's it.

You may be better off getting some Depo housings and swap the guts into those.

You can swap the lenses from the other headlights. If you notice tho, there are lines to teh light that are different between the two. But they will swap and fit.

You will have to trim some tabs off the halogen lenses but they will fit. I have mine set up like that.
