Figure your talking about the window regulator.
It could be a nice easy one or it could be one of those pain in the ass's..
I havn't done one "yet"

Correct the window Regulator. Well I'm pretty sure it's not the motor because the window was going up and then I heard a loud pop and the window stopped. I hit the button again and the glass just fell inside the door. Luckly it didn't break. From what I've read on FocalJet it sounds like there is a little clip that breaks causing the exact problem I seen. I'll know more once I take the door panel off tonight when I get home.
Steve any chance you have the passenger side power window regulator in stock?

Yeah more than likely your regulator.
Some times you can get just the clip that broke "guessing that one broke" or the window came off the track.

Oh yeah it broke. More like exploded. I had all kinds of parts laying in the bottom of my door. Steve I'll try and stop Tuesday morning before work to pick that part up so if you could put my name on one (Shane) I'd appreciate it. I'll bring my old one in case you need the motor for the core.
It took about an hour to get it out. Mind you I wasted a lot of time "trying" to save the insulation. You could spend 4 hours trying to get that stuff off without ripping and still fail.

All back together (minus the door insulation). All in all not a hard thing to do but a bit nerve racking dealing with the glass. I'll give anyone who is going to attempt this a tip. Put the glass in first and slide it all the way up and prop it up using a screwdriver pushed through one of the holes on the door. Do this BEFORE putting the window regulator in. I did and it will save you a ton of headaches trying to wiggle the glass in around everything else. Slide the glass down onto the window clamps keep the back side of glass against the back side of the door in it's track. Clamp it up nice and snug and your done.
Thanks Steve for the great price on the parts as always.

YEs dealing with door glass is nerve racking!! Sometimes it takes alot to break them thing, throwing them as hard as you can in the dumpster and they don't break and one little slip they hit somthing lightly and they shatter..
When holding the glass up in the door when changing out the regulator I usally use a couple long piece's of tape and wrap that over the top of the door frame on eather side of the glass.
