Hey guys, I realize I got a lil outta hand on this one haven't handled this stressful time that I am responsible for putting myself through very well. I said some things here I shouldn't have and in retrospect I would have gone about things differently, especially eliminating the frustration and lashing out. I hope you guys can accept my shortcomings and i do want to thank you for your help. I have really been looking forward to meeting the group on the 24th. and i hope i am still welcome to come out and see some nice foci

Well, we all have our moments. It's refreshing to see someone acknowledge when they lose their grip and step up to the plate and take a good swing. While I can't personally speak for everyone, I know if I were you I'd be apt to go off pretty easily.
Anyone who really knows me knows that  . I have no problem chalking this one up to stress and frustration and moving on.
Certainly come to the meet. Look forward to meeting you.

You know I kind of figured that. It takes some time to build up some "thick skin" while getting use to everyone and how this internet forum stuff goes.

One thing I have been wanting to tell you is what Pappy said to you he would have said to any one of us, guaranteed, and yes he is a policeman. I'm sure when he reads your response he'll flip, so let's hope he reads the rest of the thread.

I'd go along with Hotrodwagon on this one, if you'd blown this all out of proprotion things might be different but you didn't.

Of course you're welcome at the meet, should be a great time!!

BTW-If you sent Pappy a nasty PM I hope you sent a follow up explaining yourself. Pappy is a good guy, even if he is the law :)

Blck,

You'll find that we have pretty thick skin and can forgive and forget. There's no harm in little arguments, just don't let women get involved and all's well.

It's all good. I just get sick of ALL the posts bitching about speeding tickets/bad driving tickets that people make on every forum. Also I understand having fun with your car, why else would ya have it, right? But that kind of speed in a 35 zone is completely unacceptable, due to the fact that these speed zones are created for the safety of residents and drivers (IE: They are mainly only posted this low in residential areas). I don't even crack speeds that fast going code to calls, for example.

Try to slow down. If ya want to have some fun in your car, go for it, but do it in controlled settings such as auto-x/rally/etc.

i think you need to buy a geo metro. i really dont get why its so hard for people to not speed :(
It sucks that this is ganna be a headache for you but i kinda hope you take it and learn. Go talk to the judge and take whats coming, its all you can do
ive held off judgement waiting to hear why you were going that fast... so ill quote myself hoping for an answer this time around
y judge at all? that seems rude to me, different if i were to know you but rude as far as the forum goes and the fact that i havent even introduced myself in person to anyone at the meet at all, y not judge me there in person....at least its more warranted then
i wasnt putting you on blast or anything, just curious if something was going on you needed to be in a rush for... shit happens. just scares me in low speed zones because you never know if someone will come running out is all... not judging anyone, just live and learn. im by no means a good boy when im on the roads near my house, so i dont judge...

it wasnt exactly the typical neighborhood u may all be thinking..more like a country road with HUUUUGE driveways where the very few houses are a good 1/2 acre back...i am definitely careful in actual neighborhoods
