here's what i see:
with a small screw driver pry the 2 yellow balls out of the mirror backing then pry the whole thing off of the ball in the middle
then:
snap the new one back in place carefully
that may not be the right way, but if i was going to do it that's what i'd do.

A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

That mirror glass is cheap and easy to break. You can try replacing it, but it might be easy to just buy a whole new mirror. They are pretty cheap. Just incase you break it trying to replace it too.

No my brother in law has been looking at wrecked SVTs and we found a few, the mirror housings are good on all of them but they all seem to have broken mirror glass... just didnt know if it was possible to replace.
SVTs do have heated mirrors, could make things different.zx36D wrote:No my brother in law has been looking at wrecked SVTs and we found a few, the mirror housings are good on all of them but they all seem to have broken mirror glass... just didnt know if it was possible to replace.

Possible to replace?
Sure if you're careful enough.
Possible to buy?
Nope, Ford only services complete mirrors.
