PS Pump considered Drivetrain?

Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

I doubt that it's considered drivetrain, different warranties include different items so your best bet is calling your local service department tohave them check it out.

Well I went in and just had them quote it and I didn't mention the mileage. Tenvordee wanted $505 for a new one to be put it. I sourced a part for $100 and found a shop that would install it for $85, so that's what my plan is now.

Do it yourself it's super easy and takes no special tools. Probably only take an hour or so to do.

This was my original plan last year when it started showing signs of dieing. Truthfully, i'm just to lazy to want to do it myself, and if I can get a guy to do it for $80 bucks and warranty the part, I might as well.

I wouldnt pay anybody to do something that easy. Just buy a pack of beer, have somebody help you out thats done it before. That way you learn new stuff, and have the satisfaction of knowing you fixed your car yourself.
